Alas dear friends, this is it...
A couple of weeks ago we decided to pull the plug after 7 years. First of all we would like to state (rather boringly) that this is not the result of any internal conflicts or arguments.
Mainly we felt we had reached our limit, musically speaking, for Led Astray. Also our musical preferences had been drifting apart in the last couple of years, making it harder with every new song to reach some kind of agreement. Add to this that certain bandmembers found it increasingly hard to put in sufficient time for bandrelated activities or are planning long trips abroad.
We won't be doing any more shows and Led Astray won't be coming back with any new members as we feel the name should only refer the original line-up which never changed over the years. Indvidual members will still be active in other projects though: Melvin took up drumming again for a new grind project, Jona is starting a brutal death metal band and Yorick is still playing for Deleterious. We will keep this website online and use it to inform you on any developments of the individual members.
For the foreseeable feature it remains possible to order both cds through this website. We have some t-shirts left as well. Since all items remotely related to Led Astray are likely to become immensly valuable, we strongly encourage you to make the investment of a lifetime.
All that remains now is to thank all those who supported us during the past seven years. We won't be naming any individuals, because we would inevitably forget some people, but you should know who you are!

As with all shows in Houten, last friday's gig at Houten Death Fest was great! Thanks go out to Arnoud and all who showed up (including one very stoned/drunk Slovakian dude) to make this into a memorable night. Some very nice pictures have been added to the media section. Thanks to Marjolein van Diggelen for these quality shots!
As you can see, there are no planned gigs at the moment. We would like to take the opportunity to remind "all people who work at places where they feature bands on a more or less regular base" that we are bookable indeed and not even that expensive.
In other news: Dutch rock/metal magazine Aardschok featured a scoreless review in their latest edition. Read it at your local Bruna or, if you don't feel like it, buy yourself a nice ballpoint.
Have a nice koninginnedag!
